About me

Cat (she/they) is a Cardiff-based illustrator who recently graduated from the University of South Wales. Their work is heavily inspired by comic books, 80s horror movies and the Goth subculture.

Previous clients include Cloth Cat Studio, Screen Alliance Wales and Music Declares Emergency. In her first year of university education, they were shortlisted for the Creative Conscious Award 2022 with their short comic Control. She has also been featured in collaborative zines, most recently appearing in the second issue of Drama Proof Pigeon Club.

 

Her debut comic Fangs is set to be published this year. The comic is an exploration of queer identity and otherness through the lens of vampirism.
